One week down, two more two go! I gave up alcohol for three weeks for a few reasons: the Giant Race, Cabo, and most of all because I’ve been working out so much yet am not seeing the results I want. I’m hoping that by the time I’m frolicking on Lover’s Beach my stomach is nice and I’m a cheap date.
Turning down alcohol at a party, and a club is hard. You try telling a drunk person that’s shoving Hennessy shots in your face that you gave up alcohol. They think it’s code for, “Make that a double!” But surprisingly, I had no urge to drink. I didn’t even drink my sugar-free Redbull when I found out it wasn’t really sugar-free (assholes!).
Anyway, had an awesome weekend that consisted of laundry and Limitless Friday night (‘cuz I’m a party animal), running the lake Saturday am, and working the door at Minna Saturday night (p.s. shout out to Reina!), Sunday brunch with the Vancouver crew, Triple Double’s game in the afternoon (with some special guests!), and Hog & Rocks with Rach and Nikko to end the weekend.
