Had a pretty chill weekend (for once) except for wine tasting in Napa on Saturday. Tagged along with Rach and Cat to our friend Bern’s 30th birthday celebration in the vineyards, and am so glad I did! Wine tasting has always been on my Cali bucket list of things to do, I’m not sure why it took so long. The food was delicious, the wine never-ending, and the weather absolutely GORGEOUS. Some of the best grilled oysters, I’ve ever tasted courtesy of zesty cocktail and garlic parmesan sauce.
Oven-roasted jalepeno kebobs with mozzarella, salsa, and a guacamole sauce.
The Angelica below was my favorite out of our tasting, so good I came home with a bottle. It’s muscat aged with Brandy, strong enough for a man yet sweet enough for a woman!
Happy birthday Bern! Like a fine wine, we only get better with age 😉
