Weekend In Pictures – It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas Edition.

Leaving home the last time I visited was harder than the first. But all that was forgotten when I trekked to Midtown for tree lighting festivities, and saw NYC’s Christmas mode in full effect for the very first time. Everywhere you turned there were twinkling lights, snowflakes, Christmas trees, and giant ornaments. It was overwhelming, but absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

I feel like someone from the Bay visits NY every other week. This week I had two. The homie from HS was in town on some MLB business, so we popped both of our Joe’s Shanghai cherries and ate soup dumplings, pork, and chicken with the gang. Then, a few of us headed to Tonic by Times Square afterwards. On Saturday, Jimson was in town, so I met with him and Marla for a bit, didn’t come home ’til 6am, then slept for what felt the next 4 days.

Anyway, hope everyone had an amazing weekend! #gallery-12912-1 { margin: auto; } #gallery-12912-1 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 25%; } #gallery-12912-1 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-12912-1 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */

It's my Friday morning ritual. This routine is healthy. It's peaceful, it's comforting. I unroll my mat by the door, because it gets hot. But mostly, I don't trust people. I put my phone on DND, and p
