hell has no fury like a woman scorned.

And then the sky turned orange and it looked down on us. Muffled by the smoke it whispered, “I warned you”. We have failed her, and for so long we have failed each other. The sky is on fire and she is MAD. We are toxic. We do not deserve her and the many chances she’s given us all. I don’t blame her for her wrath, she is still too forgiving. Because tomorrow or the next, the sun will rise again. We will be able to breathe. And humans will forget about the fury we’ve caused. But she will not. And I only hope we all remember the day she warned us and how we acted when she did.
