Hi. In case you didn’t know yet, I can be somewhat of a control freak when it comes to certain things. My feelings, and especially my writing always need to be put in check. So please excuse me while I suppress my OCD ever so momentarily to “free write” this post.
About a month or so ago I wrote this post about a long overdue leap of faith I took into the world of “Funemployment,” and barely a week later I got hired for a job (that I wasn’t even supposed to interview for) the minute I walked out of the building. The position isn’t ideal, but it’s an awesome start for a fun company with awesome people that believe in having more beer in the fridge than food/water, and I actually get paid to do things I do for free like plan happy hours, marketing events, and get this – BLOG.
However, GATNB will always be my passion of all passions and therefore, my #1 priority. Don’t worry, I’m constantly working on that and am slowly but surely getting closer to my goal. What can I say other than I’M FUCKING EXCITED.
Asides from that, I’ll be in NYC for a week! I apologize in advance for the upcoming lack of posts, although I do have a few in que already. This trip was planned a while ago, and consists of mostly seeing old friends, hopefully lots of networking, and OF COURSE Mixologi’s first NYC party, which I hope to see you guys at!
