I still remember exactly what I was doing on September 11, 2001. Who I was with, my initial reaction, and what I did for the rest of the day. Most of all, I remember it being so surreal. During my trip to NY in May, a friend of mine was staying at the World Center Hotel just a few feet from Ground Zero. From his room, I saw this. And for a split second, that feeling of surrealism once again enveloped me. I will never forget what happened that day, nor will I forget how we rose above that day. More importantly, I will never forget those who survived, those who saved them, those we lost, and those who keep their memory alive.
